What you need

A grown-up handles the hot oven and trays.

Let's go

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).

  2. Give everyone a base and a spoonful of sauce to spread.

  3. Sprinkle on cheese for the skin or hair.

  4. Make faces with the toppings. Pepper smiles, olive eyes and sweetcorn freckles all work.

  5. A grown-up puts them on a tray in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling.

  6. Let them cool for a couple of minutes, then eat the face.

Real talk

  • Lay toppings out in little bowls so it feels like a pizza bar.
  • Kids who won't touch peppers will happily eat a pepper moustache. Use this power wisely.
